Killer Review: A Cozy Mystery with Recipes (The Painted Lady Inn Mysteries) (Volume 3)
Sleeping Dragon Press
J.E. Muscovy was a food critic whose vicious remarks or pleasant ravings could make or break a restaurant. Donna Tollhouse owned the Painted Lady Inn, a B + B where the infamous critic had decided to stay. Her friend Janice’s bistro may be the critic’s next target, or possibly her own inn’s restaurant.
Donna decided to follow J.E. when she left the inn but lost her when she was pulled over by the local detective and given a warning. When the woman was found dead, Donna started her amateur sleuthing to find the culprit.
A fun and spunky who-done-it, skillfully crafted to please all cozy mystery readers. The characters are solid, well developed, and all very identifiable. Ms. Scott has a winner on her hands!
