Serena Bell ~ 4 1/2 and 5 Star Reviews
Harlequin Blaze #829
Haven Hoyt is an image consultant who is trying to build her clientele by making connections. To that end, she accepts a job to rehab Mark Webster's image. That’s a tall order--the former boy band member is now best known for his rough appearance, drinking, and sleeping with multiple women. Now, she needs to clean him up and get him to apologize to another former band member in order to facilitate a reunion tour.
Mark needs the tour money for his father's hospital bills. Apologizing to his ex‑band mate Pete is a high price to pay, though Pete's actions led to a brawl, and it still infuriates Mark to even look at him. Beautiful, perfectly put together Haven tantalizes him, but he’s not her type at all. Still, he has the magnetic ability to goad her into uncharacteristic, risky actions.
Serena Bell’s latest pairs an uptight heroine and a hero with issues, and the results are golden. These characters should not match on the surface, but are a surprisingly electric pair. This standalone sequel should not be missed.
