AdC’s Guide for Historical Fiction Lovers
As we have seen with the multiple historical fiction novels we have read and reviewed, most of the literary opinions will agree that a general guide to a historical fiction novels is about the past from approximately 50 years or more. Depending on the author, depends on how in-depth the historical fiction shall be. Some authors have a historical setting and some authors do research and include historical events written within the plot. Historical fiction, other than the traditional historical novels have developed into several genres. Historicals can be ancient, medieval, renaissance, Victorian, regency, WW I, WW II, etc. Of course, many authors combine the subgenres, creating historical mystery romance, historical paranormal romances, etc.
